$230 Billion Neuberger Enters Tokenized Funds: Fixed-Income HINC to Launch on Four Networks
Securitize has launched HINC, a tokenized fund that brings the fixed-income platform of Neuberger Berman—which manages $230 billion—onto blockchains.
Securitize has launched the Neuberger Securitize High Income Tokenized Fund in collaboration with global asset manager Neuberger Berman. HINC stands out as the first time the firm, which manages $230 billion in assets, is serving as a sub-advisor for a tokenized fund.
The fund aims to invest primarily in high-yield bonds and other income-generating fixed-income instruments. Neuberger Berman will bring its expertise in portfolio management and research to the strategy.
HINC Launches for Eligible Investors Across Four Blockchains
HINC will be available to eligible investors on the Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana, and Sui networks. Access to the fund will be limited solely to accredited and qualified investors. Investors will also need to meet requirements for application, identity verification, anti-money laundering checks, country eligibility, and securities legislation.
Securitize Capital LLC will serve as the investment advisor for the fund. Last month, Securitize gained status as an investment advisor registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), enabling it to work more extensively with asset managers and institutional investors on tokenized investment strategies.
The company’s growth has continued as well. Securitize reported record revenue of $19.5 million and $3.4 billion in tokenized assets in the first quarter. The company’s SECZ stock began trading simultaneously on the New York Stock Exchange and on-chain on July 2.
