Bitcoin Stays at $63,500: $3.3 Billion Buy Volume Hits Historical Bottom Zones
CryptoQuant identifies the decline of Bitcoin’s 30-day average Taker Buy Volume on Binance to $3.3 billion as a historical zone indicating buyer withdrawal, though it does not yet provide a bottom confirmation.
The analysis shared by CryptoQuant highlights the divergence between the Bitcoin price and aggressive buying activity in the market. While Bitcoin is trading at approximately $63,500, the 30-day average of the Taker Buy Volume—which shows investors making quick purchases via market orders—has dropped to approximately $3.3 billion.
This level corresponds to zones seen during late 2020, the 2022 bottom, and the 2023 consolidation periods, when Bitcoin’s price was much lower. The fact that buying appetite has dropped to the same levels as past weak market periods, despite the price remaining high, indicates that aggressive buyer participation has decreased.

Bitcoin buy volume provides no bottom signal
This drop in Taker Buy Volume indicates that speculative demand and the urgency to buy have weakened in the market. In the past, similar contractions occurred during periods of capitulation or accumulation, and in some cases, before demand regained strength. However, CryptoQuant emphasizes that low volume alone is not a confirmed bottom.
For a more reliable recovery signal, Bitcoin needs to stabilize at current levels and Taker Buy Volume needs to start rising again. If buying volume remains low while the price falls, the demand gap in the market may persist. Although the current outlook indicates a significant reset in market participation, it does not mean that buyers have regained control yet.
