Crypto Message to the US from Binance Founder CZ: This Technology Has No Delete Button
Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) stated that while he faces uncertainty regarding potential legal moves against him by the new administration in the US, cryptocurrencies have now become an unstoppable technology.
Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the founder of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance, made striking statements about US politics and the future of the industry in a recent interview. Responding to questions about whether a future US administration might summon him back to court, CZ stated that it is impossible to fully predict American politics. He noted that especially during his own difficult legal proceedings, he did not foresee that Donald Trump would support cryptocurrencies so strongly in a subsequent presidential term.
There Is No Delete Button for Cryptocurrencies
Emphasizing that the sector is now in a much stronger position, CZ argued that with the involvement of numerous US investors and public companies, anti-crypto politicians could face significant losses at the polls. Zhao noted that even if US policy shifts back to an anti-crypto stance, it would be extremely difficult to reverse the progress the industry has made. Likening cryptocurrencies to the early days of artificial intelligence and the internet, the prominent figure stressed that once these technologies have spread, they cannot be destroyed.
