Santiment Unveils the 10 Most Active DeFi Altcoins: Chainlink Outperforms the Giants
According to Santiment data, Chainlink maintains its position at the top of the decentralized finance (DeFi) world by outperforming its competitors in development activity.
Development activity, one of the most critical indicators for the sustainability and success of projects in the cryptocurrency ecosystem, signals a new rebalancing process in the DeFi sector. Analysis platform Santiment ranked the most active DeFi projects by examining GitHub data from the last 30 days. The names at the top of the list continue to strengthen their technological infrastructure despite market fluctuations.
According to the shared data, Chainlink (LINK) maintained its leadership with a development score of 118.53, more than doubling the score of its nearest competitor. It is followed by DeepBook Protocol (DEEP) with 54.6 points and Lido DAO (LDO) with 29.97 points. These projects, where developers are putting in intense effort, paint a picture that restores confidence in the future of the ecosystem.
Developer Interest is Rising in the DeFi Sector
Further down the list, Euler (EUL) holds the fourth position, while Curve (CRV) shares the fifth spot with its work on both the Ethereum and Arbitrum networks. Looking at the data in the graphic, giants like Injective (INJ) and Uniswap (UNI) also maintain their positions within the top 10. In particular, the rise in development activity for projects like yearn.finance (YFI) and Augur (REP) proves that competition in the DeFi space is not just price-oriented.
On the price side, a mixed trend prevails. Lido DAO (LDO), which ranks third in development activities, stands out with a 7.26% increase in the last 24 hours, reaching the $0.334652 level. In contrast, the leader Chainlink (LINK) is trading at the $7.57 level, while the general downward trend in the market is reflected as red across the price charts of many projects. However, experts emphasize that intense development activity is a more important metric than price in terms of long-term value proposition.
