Surge in Altcoin Backed by $175 Million Investment: 68 Whale Transactions in a Single Day
Morpho (MORPHO) is flashing its strongest bullish on-chain signals in months, driven by significant interest from large investors and heavy exchange outflows.
Data from Santiment, which tracks the movements of institutional and large-scale investors in the cryptocurrency market, reveals a notable surge in activity on the Morpho (MORPHO) network. The protocol is reaching record levels in terms of both network growth and whale transactions not seen in a long time, while the volume of assets withdrawn from exchanges indicates a decrease in selling pressure.
According to shared data, exactly 68 whale transactions worth over $100,000 occurred within a single day. This figure was recorded as the highest level since October 2, 2025. Simultaneously, there was an explosion in the number of new wallets—an indicator of interest in the network—with 337 new MORPHO wallets created, marking the highest increase since March 15, 2026.
Strong Accumulation and Low Selling Pressure for Morpho
Investors withdrawing their assets from exchanges to personal wallets is generally considered part of a long-term accumulation strategy. On the Morpho front, exactly 4.35 million MORPHO flowed out of exchanges, marking the largest exchange outflow since February 4, 2026. These on-chain metrics align directly with the strategic steps the project has recently taken.
In particular, the listing of the MORPHO/KRW pair by South Korea’s giant exchange Upbit on July 25 and Robinhood‘s selection of Morpho for its new Earn product have bolstered confidence in the project. Additionally, Morpho securing a $175 million investment from leading financial giants and launching fixed-rate lending services on the Base network form the core pillars of institutional interest.
