Critical Decision from South Korean Giant for Two Altcoins: Deposits Suspended!

Bithumb, one of South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has made a critical announcement regarding two altcoin projects.

According to the statement released by Bithumb on July 31, 2026, ThunderCore (TT) and JasmyCoin (JASMY) have been placed under the “investment warning” category. The notice issued by the exchange stated that deposit operations for the assets in question will be suspended as of 16:30 on July 31, 2026. Bithumb also warned investors that transfers made before this time may not be reflected due to network congestion and confirmation delays.

Bithumb cited the projects’ shortcomings in business development and adoption processes as the justification for this decision. Following reviews, it was determined that the projects’ actual progress fell below expectations and that significant disclosures that could affect asset value were not shared transparently. This situation was evaluated within the framework of the exchange’s investor protection policies.

The exchange will continue to closely monitor the projects following this decision, which was taken to protect investors. After further reviews, it will be clarified in a new announcement to be made in the second week of August (between August 10-14) whether the warning decision for these altcoins will be extended, lifted, or if trading support will be completely terminated.
