Bitcoin Whales on the Move: $100 Million in BTC Transferred to These Wallets in the Last 3 Hours

As activity continues in the cryptocurrency market, “whales”—known as giant investors—have accumulated approximately $100 million worth of Bitcoin (BTC) over the last three hours.

While the Bitcoin price attempts to determine its direction in line with global market developments, on-chain data shows that major players are quietly making purchases. According to data shared by the blockchain analysis platform Lookonchain, massive transfer traffic has occurred through four newly created wallet addresses.

During this process, a total of 1,540 (BTC) was withdrawn from institutional-grade service providers Galaxy Digital and BitGo. These assets, worth approximately $99.4 million at current market value, were transferred to newly created wallets. These transactions, occurring within a particularly short timeframe, signal that institutional interest or the appetite of large investors to accumulate Bitcoin remains strong.

Whales’ Bitcoin Accumulation Move

Looking at the transaction details, a total of 1,000 (BTC) was sent from Galaxy Digital wallets across three different transfers. These transfers were distributed to various wallets as follows: 500 (BTC) worth $32.32 million, 300 (BTC) worth $19.39 million, and 200 (BTC) worth $12.93 million. On the other hand, 540 (BTC) worth approximately $34.89 million was moved to a new address via a single transaction from BitGo.

Large-scale transfers like these are generally interpreted as an accumulation phase in the market. The fact that newly opened wallets accepted such a high volume of Bitcoin (BTC) in such a short period indicates that investors’ long-term expectations remain positive. These movements from exchanges or institutional custodians to new addresses are considered a significant signal that selling pressure may be easing.
