Bitcoin and Ether ETFs Saw the Strongest Week of 2026: $2.6 Billion Flowed In

Spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs in the U.S. received a total of $2.6 billion in net inflows during the strongest week of 2026, while combined trading volume rose to $29 billion.

According to an analysis by The Block based on SoSoValue data, a total of $2.6 billion flowed into spot ETFs directly investing in Bitcoin and Ether in the U.S. last week. Bitcoin ETFs saw net inflows of $1.9 billion, while Ether ETFs recorded $697.2 million. Both categories recorded their strongest weekly performance of 2026.

The previous week, the two ETF groups experienced $392 million in net outflows. Thus, a reversal of approximately $3 billion occurred on a weekly basis. Trading volume in Bitcoin ETFs rose from $6.9 billion to $22.1 billion, while in Ether ETFs, it increased from $1.9 billion to $6.9 billion. The combined volume of the two groups reached $29 billion, more than tripling.

$1.9 Billion Flowed into Bitcoin ETFs

Weekly inflows into Bitcoin ETFs hit their highest level since the week ending October 10, 2025. Inflows of $517.2 million were recorded on Wednesday and $606.3 million on Thursday. Of Thursday’s flow, $503 million went into BlackRock’s IBIT fund. Total net assets of Bitcoin ETFs rose from $76.6 billion to $96.1 billion.

Ether ETFs also had their strongest week since October 2025, attracting $697.2 million. The net assets of the funds rose from $10.5 billion to $14.3 billion. However, year-to-date, there are net outflows of $2.9 billion in Bitcoin ETFs and $191.8 million in Ether ETFs. The latest inflows reduced the total deficit of the two groups to $3.1 billion.
