Critical Decision from Bithumb for an Altcoin: Trading Support to End

Bithumb has decided to terminate trading support for the altcoin named 썬도그 (SUNDOG) as part of its investor protection policy. The exchange stated that it evaluated factors such as the project’s timely announcement of significant developments, the transparency and reasonableness of change processes regarding these matters, and the progress of project activities. Following the review, it was reported that the altcoin failed to meet the criteria for maintaining trading support.

Trading transactions will end on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 09:00 AM TRT. This date may change due to internal circumstances. With the termination of trading support, transactions via API will be stopped and all remaining open buy-sell orders will be canceled in bulk.

Withdrawal support will continue until Friday, November 6, 2026, at 09:00 AM TRT. Users are requested to withdraw their assets before this date, and those planning to transfer to overseas crypto asset service providers or personal wallets are advised to complete their address registrations in advance.

After withdrawal support ends, technical support for mainnet, hard forks, airdrops, and token swaps may be discontinued; restrictions on withdrawal transactions may occur. The exchange warned that continuing to hold the asset carries risks that could lead to losses due to potential price drops on other exchanges and technical support interruptions.
