Bitcoin Reclaims $80,000: Is the $731 Million ETF Inflow Enough?

The $730.9 million that entered U.S. Bitcoin ETFs on September 3 marked the strongest daily flow since January; however, despite Bitcoin reclaiming $80,000, new demand remains weak.

U.S.-listed Bitcoin funds saw $730.9 million in inflows on Thursday. This figure was recorded as the highest daily inflow seen in ETFs since January. On the same day, the Bitcoin price also reclaimed the $80,000 level.

Money entering ETFs allows investors to access Bitcoin through funds without opening a direct wallet. Therefore, the robust inflow stands out as a significant data point indicating that capital interest in Bitcoin appears strong.

CryptoQuant noted that despite the high ETF inflows, new demand remains weak. Thus, while the ETF data presents a positive picture, additional confirmation is being sought for the expectation of a sustained rally in Bitcoin.

The $83,000 level is being watched for Bitcoin

In the analysis, the $83,000 level was identified as a critical threshold for Bitcoin to establish a stronger bullish outlook. Although Bitcoin reclaiming $80,000 supports the recovery, surpassing $83,000 is not yet a realized outcome but is instead considered a conditional test to be monitored.

In summary, the $730.9 million ETF inflow on September 3 demonstrated that capital flows toward Bitcoin have strengthened. In contrast, weak new demand and the $83,000 threshold continue to be the deciding factors in whether the current movement will transform into a permanent bull period.
