Ethereum Treasury Company Nears 5% of Supply: Holds 6 Million ETH

BitMine holds 5.93 million ETH, equivalent to approximately 4.9% of the Ethereum supply.

BitMine, distinguished by its Ethereum treasury strategy, holds 5,929,198 ETH as of September 7. According to data reported by Wu Blockchain, this amount corresponds to 4.9% of the total supply of approximately 122 million ETH.

The value of the company’s ETH reserve is calculated at $14.79 billion, based on an ETH price of $2,495. BitMine also purchased an additional 28,086 ETH last week and announced that it has been buying ETH every week since launching its treasury strategy on June 30, 2025.

BitMine staked the majority of its ETH reserve

BitMine has staked 5,067,309 of its ETH holdings. This amount represents approximately 85% of its total reserves. Based on current conditions, the company projects its annualized staking income to be approximately $330 million.

This figure is not realized income but is provided as an annual estimate based on the company’s current staking activities. In the company announcement shown in the image, BitMine’s staking position of 5.07 million ETH is valued at approximately $12.6 billion at an ETH price of $2,495.

BitMine’s balance sheet also includes 211 Bitcoin (BTC) and approximately $593 million in cash and securities. With these assets, the company’s total portfolio—consisting of cryptocurrencies, cash, securities, and other investments—reaches approximately $15.7 billion.
