Trezor Warns Users of Fake Security Emails: Do Not Click the Links
Trezor has warned its users about fake security emails following a breach at a third-party email provider.
Hardware wallet manufacturer Trezor announced that its third-party email provider was breached. In the announcement shared by Wu Blockchain, the company reported that a fake email sent in its name is targeting users.
It was stated that the email titled “Critical Security Alert: STM32 Entropy Vulnerability” was not sent by Trezor. The company emphasized that the message is a phishing attempt and requested that users do not click on any links in the email.
Trezor has disabled the relevant domain
Trezor announced that it has disabled the relevant domain. The company is also investigating how the attackers gained access to Trezor’s legitimate domain name.
