Bithumb Issues Trading Warning for This Altcoin: Deposits to Be Suspended
Bithumb has issued a trading warning for the altcoin Sophon (SOPH) and announced that it will suspend deposits on September 22.
The exchange explained that the reason for issuing a trading warning for Sophon (SOPH) was making changes without just cause to important matters that could seriously affect the asset’s value, as well as deficiencies in the required procedures.
SOPH deposits are scheduled to be suspended as of September 22, 2026, at 09:00 TSI. According to the announcement, even deposits sent before this time may not be credited to accounts due to network congestion or confirmation delays. Deposits made during the suspension period will not be processed; if the warning is lifted or trading support is discontinued in the future, they will be handled in order.
Bithumb plans to announce between October 12-16, 2026 whether the trading warning will be extended, lifted, or trading support will be discontinued. If the reason for the warning is resolved during this period, the trading warning may be lifted.
