Whales Dormant for Three Years Awaken as This Altcoin Rallies: Millions Sent to Exchanges!

Following Quant’s recent rally, two whales that had been inactive for more than three years sent a total of 17,250 QNT, worth approximately $4 million, to exchanges.

According to data shared by Lookonchain on September 29, two addresses beginning with 0x6d32 and 0xd633 resumed trading after a long period of silence. Some of the funds were sent to deposit addresses belonging to Binance, Coinbase, and Kraken.

First whale sends 8,250 QNT to Binance

After more than three years of inactivity, the wallet beginning with 0x6d32 deposited 8,250 QNT to Binance. The transfer was valued at approximately $1.88 million.

The second whale moved 34,200 QNT worth approximately $8.05 million to different addresses. Of that amount, 9,000 QNT reached Coinbase and Kraken through subsequent transactions. Lookonchain estimated the value of this portion sent to exchanges at approximately $2.12 million.

The shared transaction records show that addresses linked to the second whale sent 2,000 QNT to Kraken and 4,000 and 3,000 QNT to Coinbase. This brought the two whales’ total exchange deposits to 17,250 QNT.

Lookonchain interpreted these movements, which came after a long period of inactivity, as a move to sell following QNT’s rally. The records show transfers to exchanges, but no transaction outcome was shared regarding how many tokens were sold or at what price.
