Upbit Lifts Trading Warning for This Altcoin; Deposits to Resume
Upbit lifted its trading warning for Sandbox (SAND) and announced that it will resume deposit services.
Upbit had issued a trading warning for Sandbox (SAND) on August 24, 2026, due to a security incident that posed a risk of user losses. The exchange conducted a review after receiving documents from the Sandbox team on the course of the security incident and the measures taken afterward. After determining that the reason for the warning had been addressed, Upbit lifted the warning on October 2, 2026.
The decision covers the SAND/KRW and SAND/BTC trading pairs. Upbit said deposit services would resume soon. Transactions recorded while deposit services were suspended will be credited to accounts in order after the service resumes.
The exchange warned users that price differences with other overseas exchanges following the resumption of deposits could lead to sharp price movements.
