Upbit to List This Altcoin: Trading Time Announced

Upbit announced that it will list the altcoin Gitcoin (GTC) on the KRW and USDT markets.

According to Upbit’s announcement, trading support for Gitcoin (GTC) will begin on October 12 at 13.30 TRT. The GTC/KRW and GTC/USDT trading pairs will be added. The launch may be delayed if sufficient liquidity cannot be secured.

Deposits and withdrawals will be supported only on the Ethereum network. Upbit asked users to check the network before making a transfer and said transfers using networks other than the one specified will not be supported.

After trading begins, buy orders will be restricted for approximately the first 5 minutes. During the same period, sell orders priced 10 percent below the previous day’s closing price will not be permitted. In addition, all order types and conditions other than limit orders will be restricted for approximately 2 hours.

Upbit reported that the previous day’s closing price on the BTC market, which will be used to determine trading restrictions, was 0,00000217 BTC; the equivalent values were given as 246 KRW and 0,1818 USDT.
