Ethereum Investor Sells 3,000 ETH Bought Nine Years Ago for a 128x Return

Lookonchain reported that an investor who sold 3,000 ETH purchased about nine years ago earned a 128x return.

The investor, whom Lookonchain described as an “Ethereum OG,” sold 3,000 ETH on October 23, 2026. According to the post, the ETH had been purchased about nine years ago at $18.83 per ETH.

3,000 ETH Reaches a Value of $7.23 Million

Lookonchain valued the 3,000 ETH at approximately $7.23 million at the time of the post.
