Bithumb has issued a trading warning for Initia (INIT).
Bithumb announced at 08.00 Turkey time on October 26, 2026 that it had placed Initia (INIT) under a trading warning. The exchange cited confirmation of an unexplained or unresolved hack-type security incident involving the wallet or distributed ledger infrastructure used in the asset’s issuance, transfer, or storage processes.
INIT deposits and withdrawals are currently suspended. Deposits made during the suspension will not be processed; transfers sent before the suspension may also fail to appear in accounts due to network congestion or confirmation delays. These deposits will be handled in order if the warning is lifted or trading support is discontinued in the future.
A decision on extending or lifting the warning, or discontinuing trading support is scheduled to be announced between November 23-27, 2026. Bithumb stated that the schedule may change for internal reasons. If the issue is resolved during the warning period, the warning may be lifted; the announcement does not constitute a final decision to discontinue trading support.
