A First Since June for Popular Altcoin: 1.26 Million Tokens Withdrawn from Exchanges

Massive outflows from exchanges on the Chainlink network are painting a promising picture for investors, signaling a decrease in selling pressure.

According to data shared by the on-chain data analysis platform Santiment, a net outflow of 1.26 million LINK occurred from exchanges within the last 24 hours. This figure has been recorded as the highest daily exchange outflow seen since June 29th.

A decrease in supply on exchanges typically indicates that investors are withdrawing their assets to personal wallets for long-term holding. Having less LINK available on exchanges means a reduction in the amount of tokens ready for immediate sell orders. This situation significantly reduces the risk of potential future selling pressure, helping the price gain a more stable footing.

Chainlink Supply Is Melting Away on Exchanges

When examining the shared chart data, it is clearly visible that the exchange flow balance has experienced a sharp decline and outflows have peaked. The timing of this activity also aligns with the project’s successes in the institutional space. In particular, Chainlink being among the technology providers during DTCC‘s tokenized U.S. securities transactions in July became one of the most important factors refreshing confidence in the project.

Furthermore, Chainlink’s CCIP (Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol) technology expanding its support across both institutional and crypto-focused networks like Canton and Robinhood Chain is contributing to the ecosystem’s growth.
