Listing Decision for This Altcoin from South Korean Giant Exchange: To Trade in 3 Different Pairs!
South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, Upbit, has announced the listing of a new altcoin.
According to the announcement on Upbit’s official website, Cap (CAP) will begin trading on the platform. CAP will be listed with Korean Won (KRW), Bitcoin (BTC), and Tether (USDT) trading pairs on August 6 at 14:00.
In the statement made by Upbit, it was noted that CAP deposits and withdrawals can only be carried out via the Ethereum network. The announcement emphasized that transfers made outside of the specified network will not be supported; therefore, investors must check the network before transacting. A warning was issued that the refund process for deposits made over the wrong network could take a long time.
It was announced that buy orders for the asset in question will be restricted for the first 5 minutes after trading support begins. Additionally, it was stated that only limit orders will be accepted for approximately 2 hours following the listing.
In addition, it was stated that for the first 5 minutes after the start of trading support, the price of CAP cannot be sold at levels falling 10 percent below the previous day’s closing price. Upbit also reminded that the prices used as the basis for trading restrictions were determined in line with CoinMarketCap data.
According to the disclosed data, the reference previous day’s closing price for CAP was shared as 40.69 won in the KRW pair, 0.00000044 BTC in the BTC pair, and 0.02858 dollars in the USDT pair. As of 10:50 on August 6, the current price was announced as 39.85 won in the KRW pair, 0.00000043 BTC in the BTC pair, and 0.02833 dollars in the USDT pair.
