South Korean Giant Exchange Announces Listing for This Altcoin: To Be Traded in 3 Different Pairs!
Upbit, South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has announced a listing for a new altcoin.
According to the announcement on Upbit’s official website, Cap (CAP) will begin trading on the platform. CAP will be listed with Korean Won (KRW), Bitcoin (BTC), and Tether (USDT) trading pairs on August 6 at 14:00.
In the statement made by Upbit, it was noted that CAP deposit and withdrawal transactions can only be carried out via the Ethereum network. The announcement emphasized that transfers made outside the specified network will not be supported; therefore, investors must strictly check the network before the transaction. A warning was issued that the refund process for deposits made via the wrong network could take a long time.
It was announced that buy orders for the asset in question will be restricted for the first 5 minutes after trading support begins. Additionally, it was stated that only limit orders will be accepted for approximately 2 hours following the listing.
In addition, it was stated that for the first 5 minutes after the start of trading support, CAP cannot be sold at levels more than 10% below the previous day’s closing price. Upbit also reminded that the prices used for trading restrictions were determined in accordance with CoinMarketCap data.
According to the disclosed data, the reference closing price for CAP from the previous day was shared as 40.69 won in the KRW pair, 0.00000044 BTC in the BTC pair, and $0.02858 in the USDT pair. As of 10:50 on August 6, the current price was announced as 39.85 won in the KRW pair, 0.00000043 BTC in the BTC pair, and $0.02833 in the USDT pair.
