South Korean Giant Makes 6 New Altcoin Moves: One Price Surges Double Digits!
Upbit, South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the listing of 6 new altcoins.
According to the announcement made by Upbit on its official website on August 10, Cysic (CYS), Impossible Cloud Network (ICNT), Anoma (XAN), OpenEden (EDEN), AIOZ Network (AIOZ), and Allora (ALLO) will begin trading on the platform. These assets will be listed with Bitcoin (BTC) and Tether (USDT) trading pairs at 14:00 on August 10.
In the statement made by Upbit, it was noted that deposit and withdrawal transactions for CYS and ICNT can be carried out via Base; XAN, EDEN, and AIOZ via Ethereum; and ALLO via the Allora network. The announcement emphasized that transfers made through networks other than those specified will not be supported; therefore, investors must double-check the network before making a transaction. A warning was issued that the refund process for deposits made via the wrong network could take a long time.
It was announced that buy orders for the assets in question will be restricted for the first 5 minutes after trading support begins. Additionally, it was stated that only limit orders will be accepted for approximately 2 hours following the listing.
Furthermore, it was stated that for the first 5 minutes after trading support commences, the new altcoins cannot be sold at levels falling more than 10 percent below the previous day’s closing price. Upbit also reminded that the prices used as a basis for trading restrictions were determined in accordance with CoinMarketCap data.
According to the disclosed data, the reference closing prices from the previous day for BTC and USDT pairs were shared as follows: CYS (0.00001516 BTC / 0.987 USDT), ICNT (0.00000203 BTC / 0.1323 USDT), XAN (0.00000027 BTC / 0.01760 USDT), EDEN (0.00000065 BTC / 0.04236 USDT), AIOZ (0.00000072 BTC / 0.0469 USDT), and ALLO (0.00000483 BTC / 0.3146 USDT).
According to CoinGecko data, the CYS price has experienced a 14.33% increase within the last 24 hours and is trading at $0.9978 at the time of reporting.
