Institutional Silence in XRP Price: Eyes Turn to CLARITY Act as ETF Inflows Plunge 93%

As the cryptocurrency market gains overall upward momentum, the XRP price has lagged behind its competitors due to slowing ETF inflows and regulatory uncertainties.

While the eyes of the crypto world are fixed on leading assets, the payment-oriented cryptocurrency XRP is struggling to keep pace with the recent market recovery wave. In a week where giants like Bitcoin and Ethereum gained value, the XRP price experienced a pullback of approximately 5%, retreating to the $1.03 levels. During this period, as total market capitalization approaches the $2.19 trillion threshold, the asset’s weak performance is sparking curiosity among investors.

Although net capital inflows into XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) occurred for the fourth consecutive week, the intensity of this interest decreased by 93% compared to the previous week, falling to the $1 million level. While hundreds of millions of dollars flow into Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) funds, this stagnation on the XRP side is leading to price suppression. Analysts point to the U.S. Senate’s postponement of discussions on the CLARITY Act until mid-September as one of the primary reasons for this situation.

Institutional Waiting Game for XRP and Future Scenarios

Market experts describe the current situation as a process of “quiet absorption” rather than capitulation. Although trading volume indicators follow a neutral course, the continuation of large order flows shows that institutional investors are still waiting in the wings. The indecision between red and green candles on technical analysis charts proves that the price has not yet made a clear breakout but is also not under heavy selling pressure.

Long-term expectations, however, still appear quite optimistic. Some financial experts predict that the XRP asset will be positioned as a global bridge asset in the future and could be recognized in the highest capital class by the Bank for International Settlements (BIS). With the establishment of regulatory clarity, the asset’s structural role in the global financial system is expected to become more prominent.
