Altcoin Surging 16% to be Listed on Upbit: KRW and USDT Trading Starts August 21
Cryptocurrency exchange Upbit has announced the listing of a new altcoin.
According to the statement published on Upbit’s official website, Curve (CRV) will begin trading on the platform. CRV will be listed with Korean Won (KRW) and Tether (USDT) trading pairs on August 21 at 13:00.
In the announcement by Upbit, it was stated that CRV deposits and withdrawals can only be performed via the Ethereum network. The announcement emphasized that transfers made outside the specified network will not be supported, and investors must check the network before transacting. A warning was issued that the recovery process for deposits made through the wrong network could take a long time.
It was announced that buy orders for CRV will be restricted for approximately 5 minutes after trading support begins. Additionally, it was stated that only limit orders will be accepted for approximately 2 hours following the start of trading support. Restrictions will also be placed on sell orders at levels more than 10% below CRV’s previous day’s closing price during the first 5 minutes.
Upbit reported that the CRV price used as a reference for trading restrictions will be determined based on data from the BTC market. The previous day’s closing price for CRV was shared as 0.00000370 BTC, 352.8 KRW, and 0.2562 USDT.
According to CoinGecko data, the CRV price has risen 16% in the last 24 hours and is trading at the $0.300991 level at the time of reporting.
