The difference between Bitcoin sales and repurchases attributed to Michael Saylor has reached approximately $84 million, according to the Lookonchain account.

Michael Saylor’s (@saylor) transactions over the last two months have come into focus following claims that he sold Bitcoin at a lower price and bought it back at a higher price. Calculations based on the price difference indicate that this series of transactions resulted in a cost of approximately $84 million.

According to the data, 6,916 BTC was sold at an average price of $62,081. The total value of the transactions was reported as approximately $429.35 million. Subsequently, 4,603 BTC was purchased at an average price of $80,318 for approximately $369.7 million. This resulted in a difference of approximately $18,237 per Bitcoin between the selling and repurchasing prices.

The $84 Million Gap in Saylor’s Bitcoin Transactions

The post reveals that the selling process occurred in two separate parts. In the first transaction, 3,588 BTC was sold at $60,197, and in the second, 3,328 BTC was sold at $64,112. These two transactions account for a total of 6,916 BTC.

On the repurchase side, an average price of $80,318 is cited for the entire 4,603 BTC. The source calculates the gap between the sale and repurchase at approximately $84 million. This figure is reported not as a realized cash loss, but as a calculation based on the disclosed prices and quantities.
