Upbit Ends Trading Support for This Altcoin: Price Drops 15%
Upbit has announced that it will end trading support for an altcoin.
According to the exchange’s official announcement, it will end trading support for Ravencoin (RVN). The decision covers the RVN/KRW, RVN/BTC, and RVN/USDT trading pairs. Trading support will end as of October 12, 2026, at 09:00 AM (TRT).
Upbit explained that it assessed the potential for security incidents, such as unexplained or unresolved hacks in the wallet or distributed ledger technology, to cause user losses. The exchange reported that it had placed Ravencoin under a trading warning on August 11, 2026, and concluded in a subsequent review that these concerns had not been resolved, leading to the decision to terminate trading support to protect investors.
With the termination of trading support, all previously placed buy and sell orders for the relevant trading pairs will be canceled en masse. Following the announcement, services such as airdrops, wallet upgrades, and hard fork for Ravencoin will no longer be supported. It was stated that withdrawal services will be restarted shortly, and a separate announcement will be made regarding this.
Withdrawal support for Ravencoin will be provided for 30 days, and users must complete their withdrawal transactions by November 11, 2026. A warning was issued that deposits or incorrect transfers made after trading support ends may not be reflected in accounts, and refund processes after the withdrawal period ends may take a long time due to technical reasons.
According to CoinMarketCap data, RVN has lost 14.69% of its value in the last 24 hours and was trading at $0.00265265 at the time of reporting.
