Trading Support for an Altcoin Ending on Bithumb: Dates Announced
Bithumb has decided to terminate trading support for Ravencoin (RVN).
The exchange reported that following an investigation into security incidents involving distributed ledgers managed by the issuer or operator and the subsequent remedial steps, it was determined that RVN did not meet the criteria for continued trading support.
Buying and selling transactions will end as of October 12, 2026, at 09:00 AM UTC+3. After this date, API trading support for RVN will be discontinued, and open buy-sell orders will be canceled en masse. Bithumb stated that RVN withdrawals will be reopened following the announcement, though the schedule may change due to internal conditions.
Withdrawal support will end as of November 11, 2026, at 09:00 AM UTC+3. Users are required to withdraw their altcoins before this date, and those transferring to international crypto service providers or personal wallets must complete their address registrations in advance.
A warning was issued that after the end of withdrawal support, technical support for mainnet updates, hard forks, airdrops, and token swaps may be discontinued, and restrictions on withdrawals may occur. The exchange also noted that continuing to hold RVN could lead to losses due to a lack of technical support or price drops on other exchanges.
