Nu’s New Account Converts Deposits into Stablecoins: Offering Transfers to Over 35 Countries

As Nu launches operations in the U.S., it has also introduced the Nu Global account, which converts deposits into USDC or EURC.

Nu, Latin America’s largest digital bank, is offering its U.S. services through deposit accounts, credit cards, and international money transfers. While these services are provided in partnership with Lead Bank, the company introduced Nu Global as a multi-currency account for cross-border users.

Nu Global Offers Transfers to Over 35 Countries

According to Nu’s official announcement dated September 10, Nu Global provides fast and free money transfers to more than 35 countries.

Nu states that it serves over 140 million customers worldwide. According to the announcement, U.S. services and Nu Global were launched on September 10, 2026.
