Strive bought another 2,000 Bitcoin last week for $168.84 million, bringing its purchases since August 24 to 8,106 BTC and its total Bitcoin holdings to 29,462 BTC.

According to a post by Lookonchain dated October 5, the company paid an average of $84,422 per Bitcoin in its latest purchase. This brings the amount it spent on Bitcoin purchases over the roughly six-week period that began in the final week of August to $659.6 million.

What was the average cost of the six weeks of purchases?

Between August 24 and September 25, Strive bought 6,106 BTC for approximately $490.77 million, at an average of $80,375 per Bitcoin. With the addition of the latest 2,000 BTC, the total purchased during this period reached 8,106 BTC, with an average purchase price of $81,374.

Because the latest purchase was made at a higher price than the previous period’s average, it also raised the average cost of this buying spree. Even so, the company continued adding to its Bitcoin accumulation.

Total Bitcoin holdings exceed 29,000 BTC

The announcement image dated October 2 in the post shows Strive’s total Bitcoin holdings at 29,462 BTC. Using the Bitcoin price of $84,368 shown in the image, those holdings were worth approximately $2.49 billion at the time.
