Tether Blacklists at Least 33 Addresses Holding Millions of USDT

Tether blacklisted at least 33 addresses holding approximately 27 million USDT on the TRON network when they were flagged.

According to a report by Wu Blockchain citing TrustSniffer data, the blacklisting took place on October 28. Among the monitored addresses, a single address with the highest balance held approximately 7.8 million USDT.

The approximately 27 million USDT across the addresses is based on the total balance recorded during monitoring. The amount definitively frozen at the time the transactions took place may differ from this total.

The reason for Tether’s blacklisting of this large number of addresses has not yet been made public.
