Serving as Vice President of AI Research, Song will focus specifically on AI safety and security issues. Along with this significant transition, several core members of the Virtue AI team, whom Song previously worked with, have also moved under the Meta umbrella.

In a statement made via social media, Dawn Song expressed her excitement about shaping the safety of pioneering AI models that will serve billions of people and organizations. Song will work specifically on the safe development of AI systems capable of autonomous action. Strategic Move from Oasis Labs Founder to Meta

Dawn Song achieved significant success in the blockchain world with the Oasis Labs project, which offers privacy-focused AI and data protection solutions. The project’s native asset, Oasis (ROSE), garnered intense investor interest during its development. Having raised a total of $45 million in funding from a group of investors including industry giants like Binance Labs, a16z Crypto, Accel, Pantera and Polychain, the project established a prominent place in the crypto ecosystem.

However, the project’s market performance has come back into focus following the founder’s new move. According to current data, the price of ROSE is trading around $0.006, representing a value loss of approximately 99% from its all-time high of $0.596.
