Binance Announces Last-Minute Futures Delisting for Three Altcoins!
Binance announced that it will delist the USDT-margined perpetual futures contracts for three altcoins on October 5 and automatically close all open positions.
According to the exchange’s October 1 announcement, the PROMPTUSDT, PUMPBTCUSDT and 1000000BOBUSDT contracts will be automatically settled on October 5, 2026, at 12.00 TRT and then delisted.
The contracts to be delisted are:
- PROMPTUSDT: PROMPT/USDT perpetual futures contract.
- PUMPBTCUSDT: PUMPBTC/USDT perpetual futures contract.
- 1000000BOBUSDT: 1000000BOB/USDT perpetual futures contract.
New orders will be restricted half an hour beforehand
Starting October 5 at 11.30 TRT, new orders that do not serve to reduce positions will not be allowed for these contracts. Binance recommended that users who wish to avoid automatic settlement close their open positions before the settlement time.
During the final hour before the planned settlement, the Futures Insurance Fund will not be used to support liquidations. For liquidations during this period, the exchange will attempt to reduce the position with a single order, canceling any portion that does not execute immediately. After the trade, if the account meets the required maintenance margin, liquidation will stop; otherwise, the remaining portion will be handled through the auto-deleveraging (ADL) mechanism.
The exchange urged users to monitor their positions closely due to the potential for increased volatility and reduced liquidity in the final hour. It also said that in the event of extreme volatility, parameters such as leverage, position limits, maintenance margin and funding rates may be changed without further notice.
