Binance Announces Margin Delisting for Several Altcoins!

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced that it will remove margin trading pairs for various altcoins from the platform.

In an official announcement dated August 17, 2026, Binance Margin reported that margin trading pairs for AUCTION (Bounce), BEAMX (BeamX), CETUS (Cetus), HUMA (Huma Finance), LAYER (Solayer), NXPC (Nexpace), UMA (UMA), and VELODROME (Velodrome) will be removed.

According to the statement, the AUCTION/USDC, BEAMX/USDC, CETUS/USDC, HUMA/USDC, LAYER/USDC, NXPC/USDC, UMA/USDC, and VELODROME/USDC pairs will be removed from cross margin trading. Additionally, the HUMA/USDC, LAYER/USDC, and NXPC/USDC pairs will also be removed from isolated margin trading.

Binance stated that following the announcement, users will not be able to transfer assets to the aforementioned isolated margin pairs via manual transfer or Auto-Transfer Mode. Users with existing debt in the relevant tokens will only be able to transfer up to the amount of the debt after the collateral in their accounts is deducted.

The exchange will suspend borrowing for the specified isolated margin pairs as of August 18, 2026, at 06:00 (UTC). By August 21, 2026, at 06:00 (UTC), user positions will be closed, automatic liquidation will be performed, pending orders will be canceled, and the specified pairs will be removed from Binance Margin.

Stating that the delisting process may take approximately 3 hours, Binance reported that users will not be able to update their positions during this period. The exchange advised users to close their positions and transfer their assets from margin accounts to spot accounts before August 21. Binance also emphasized that it will not be responsible for any potential losses that may occur during the process. The assets in question will continue to be tradable in other available trading pairs on Binance Margin.
