Binance Announces New Altcoin Listing, Price Surges: Warning, Risk Involved!

Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has announced that it will list a new altcoin under the “Seed Tag” label, which identifies high-risk tokens.

In an announcement made on December 4, Binance revealed that it will list the Aerodrome (AERO) token at 13:00 (UTC+3). According to the announcement, deposits for AERO were opened prior to the start of spot trading. Withdrawals will commence on December 5 at 13:00 (UTC+3). No BNB will be charged as a listing fee.

With this listing, Binance will offer investors trading opportunities through the AERO/USDT trading pair. Additionally, Spot Algo Orders will be active at the time of listing, while Trading Bots and Spot Copy Trading features will be enabled within 24 hours.

While it was stated that the AERO token may exhibit riskier price movements and higher volatility compared to other cryptocurrencies, it was emphasized that the token will be listed with the Seed Tag. Binance reminded users who wish to trade tokens with this tag that they must pass a risk awareness quiz every 90 days.

Operating on the Base network, Aerodrome stands out as a protocol aiming to serve as a decentralized exchange (DEX) and liquidity layer.
