Binance Offers Options for Over 1,000 US Stocks and ETFs to Non-US Users
While offering non-US users access to options tied to more than 1,000 US stocks and ETFs, Binance reported that July volume for transactions linked to traditional assets reached $445 billion.
Binance is expanding access to traditional assets through its crypto exchange. According to information reported by Bloomberg and shared by Wu Blockchain, the platform enables users living outside the US to trade options tied to more than 1,000 US stocks and ETFs. These products offer investors the right to buy or sell a specific asset at a predetermined price.
The new access is provided through Binance’s Abu Dhabi-based entity, Nest Trading Limited. Alpaca Securities, a US-registered broker-dealer, is responsible for trade execution, clearing processes, and asset custody. This allows users to access traditional financial products via crypto infrastructure.
Traditional asset volume on Binance rose to $445 billion
Binance’s own data shows that interest in this field is not limited to product diversity. The volume of perpetual futures linked to traditional assets, which was around $30 billion in January, rose to $445 billion in July. This represents an approximately 15-fold increase, according to data reported by the platform. The figure does not represent the total financial market, but only the monthly trading volume on Binance.
Shunyet Jan, Binance’s Head of Exchange and Trading, stated that user demand for trading traditional assets via crypto infrastructure is increasing. Jan also noted that the daily volume of perpetual futures tied to Sandisk stock recently surpassed Bitcoin on Binance. This development indicates that stock and ETF-focused products are becoming more prominent on crypto platforms.
