Bithumb Continues Trading Warning: This Altcoin’s Status to Be Finalized Between September 14-18
Cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb has announced the extension of the trading warning status for an altcoin as part of its investor protection policy.
According to Bithumb’s official statement, the trading warning status applied to Zilliqa (ZIL) will continue. The exchange stated that it has received explanations from the project team regarding the facts of the matter and subsequent steps, and is continuing an additional review process. It was reported that the trading warning status has been extended to allow for a more comprehensive evaluation.
The announcement regarding the extension, removal, or termination of trading support for Zilliqa (ZIL) is scheduled to be made in the third week between September 14-18. Bithumb warned that the schedule may change depending on internal conditions.
The exchange also reported that the trading warning status for Zilliqa (ZIL) could be lifted if the relevant reasons are resolved within the warning period. Bithumb plans to continue monitoring virtual assets for which it provides trading support and maintaining communication with project teams to protect investors.
