Charles Schwab Plans to Offer Direct Trading Support for SOL, AVAX, and LINK
Charles Schwab plans to offer direct trading support for Solana, Avalanche, and Chainlink on the Schwab Crypto platform.
Charles Schwab, one of the largest brokerage firms in the US, is preparing to expand its customers’ access to cryptocurrencies. According to reports from Wu Blockchain, the company plans to add spot trading support for SOL, AVAX, and LINK to Schwab Crypto in the coming months.
The platform currently only allows Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) trading. When the new support is launched, users will be able to buy and sell Solana, Avalanche, and Chainlink directly rather than through futures contracts. However, trading for these three assets has not yet started, and a definitive listing date has not been shared.
Schwab Crypto Expands to Three New Cryptocurrencies
Schwab Crypto was made available to customers in May 2026. The service is supported by Charles Schwab’s banking subsidiary. The company states that it developed the plan to add new assets so that customers can build their crypto portfolios with a wider range of options.
Joe Vietri, Head of Digital Assets at Charles Schwab, said the expansion will provide customers with more choices.
If the plan is implemented, Schwab customers will be able to access three major altcoins through the same platform in addition to existing Bitcoin and Ethereum trading.
