Critical Decision from South Korean Giant for This Altcoin: Investors Beware!

Upbit, South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has issued a critical announcement regarding an investment warning for an altcoin.

According to the statement released by Upbit on its official website on August 11, 2026, Ravencoin (RVN) has been placed in the “Investment Warning” category on the platform. While RVN continues to be traded in KRW, BTC, and USDT pairs, the exchange reported that it has placed the asset under close monitoring to protect investors.

In the statement made by Upbit, it was noted that unidentified security breaches or hacking incidents may have occurred on the Ravencoin (RVN) network or wallets, which could lead to user grievances. In this context, RVN deposits and withdrawals were suspended as of 01:02 on August 11. The exchange emphasized that only withdrawal services would be resumed in the future, while deposits would remain closed, and all deposits made during this period would be returned.

It was announced that the review process for the asset in question will last until the second week of September 2026 (September 7-11). It was stated that if security issues in the project are not resolved or if risks persist as a result of the evaluations to be made during this period, RVN could be completely delisted (trading support could be terminated).

Additionally, it was reminded that a detailed review of RVN will be conducted in accordance with the exchange’s digital asset support policies during the investment warning period. Upbit stated that the review process could be extended and the final decision will be shared through a separate announcement.
