Critical Decision from South Korean Giant for This Altcoin: Transactions Suspended!

Bithumb, one of South Korea’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, issued a critical announcement and warned investors regarding an altcoin.

According to the announcement made by Bithumb on July 28, 2026, Storj (STORJ) has been placed on the “cautionary item” list. The exchange’s notice stated that deposit services for STORJ will be suspended as of July 28, 2026, at 6:00 PM.

The exchange explained that this decision was made as part of the monitoring and verification processes regarding the sustainability of the project’s core activities. A final decision for STORJ (extending the warning, lifting it, or terminating trading support) is scheduled to be announced in the second week of August, between August 10 and 14.

Bithumb also warned users that due to network congestion and confirmation delays, even transfers made before the suspension time might face restrictions in being reflected in accounts. It was emphasized that transfers made during the deposit suspension period will not be processed; however, if the warning is lifted or trading support is terminated in the future, these transactions will be processed sequentially.
