The new legal lead will demonstrate expertise across a wide range of regulations, primarily the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), as well as the European Union’s MiCA rules and UK regulations. The company’s daily transaction volume exceeding $300 million and profits of over $500 million last year with only 100 employees highlight the financial strength behind such a high salary offer.

Recently, Pump.fun has faced significant criticism, particularly regarding its reward market named Pump.fun GO and its live streaming features. Incidents such as users harming themselves or producing inappropriate content in exchange for Solana (SOL) rewards have increased the platform’s legal risks. Additionally, the company continues to fight a class-action lawsuit filed in New York alleging the sale of unlicensed securities and organized criminal activities.
