The value of tokenized real-world assets on Solana rose nearly sixfold in a year, while the network also outpaced the rivals tracked in the report in app revenue over the past 30 days.
According to a Castle Labs report cited by Wu Blockchain, the on-chain value of real-world assets (RWAs) on Solana climbed from approximately $700 million to $4.3 billion over the past year. In this sector, where traditional assets are represented by tokens on a blockchain, Solana’s value grew by approximately 6.1x.
The gap with Ethereum has narrowed
Over the same period, the value of RWAs on Ethereum rose from $15.5 billion to $16.6 billion. Ethereum remained ahead in absolute value, but Solana’s faster growth significantly changed the ratio between the two networks.
A year ago, the value of RWAs on Solana was approximately 4.5% of Ethereum’s; in the latest reading, that share rose to 26%, or more than a quarter.
Ranks first in app revenue with $193 million
In a separate comparison in the report, Solana apps generated $193.1 million in revenue over the past 30 days. Solana ranked first among the networks tracked in this measure; Hyperliquid apps generated $86.5 million, while Ethereum apps recorded $53.8 million in revenue.
