Upbit Announces Listing for This Altcoin!
Cryptocurrency exchange Upbit has announced a listing for an altcoin.
According to Upbit’s official announcement, Prom (PROM) will begin trading on the platform. PROM will be listed with Korean Won (KRW) and Tether (USDT) trading pairs on August 12 at 12:30 PM. The exchange’s statement noted that trading support may be delayed if sufficient liquidity is not established.
The announcement by Upbit stated that PROM deposits and withdrawals can only be carried out via the Ethereum network. It was emphasized in the announcement that transfers outside the PROM-Ethereum network will not be supported, and investors must check the network before processing. A warning was issued that the refund process for deposits made via the wrong network may take a long time.
It was announced that buy orders for the asset in question will be restricted for approximately 5 minutes after trading support begins. Additionally, it was stated that only limit orders will be accepted for approximately 2 hours following the listing.
In addition, it was stated that for the first 5 minutes after the start of trading support, PROM cannot be sold at levels more than 10% below the previous day’s closing price. Upbit announced that the prices used as a basis for these trading restrictions will be determined based on data from the BTC market.
Prom aims to be a GameFi platform covering an NFT marketplace, NFT aggregator, decentralized rental and mortgage solutions, a launchpad, and decentralized exchange services. The project also states that it is launching its own zk-Rollup-based Layer-2 blockchain in March 2025.
