The exchange stated that the decision is not a definitive termination of trading support; after the review, the warning may be lifted, the period extended, or trading support may be terminated.

The process began on September 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM UTC+3, and the review period was announced as October 19-23, 2026. The announcement listed the relevant trading pairs as EGLD/KRW, EGLD/BTC, and EGLD/USDT.

Deposits and withdrawals were suspended on September 19, 2026, at 11:47 AM UTC+3. Upbit stated that if services resume, only withdrawals will initially start, and deposit support will be announced separately based on the outcome of the review.

The exchange warned that EGLD deposits made after the announcement was published might not be credited to accounts and could be non-recoverable. During the period when deposit support is closed, return processes will be temporarily suspended, and if support resumes, transactions will be handled in order.
