Upbit announced that it will end trading support for SOPH (소폰).
According to an announcement published by the exchange on October 15, 2026, trading support for the SOPH/KRW, SOPH/BTC, and SOPH/USDT pairs will end on Monday, November 16, 2026, at 09:00 KST.
Upbit reviewed whether important information was disclosed in a timely manner through appropriate electronic channels, changes to the circulating supply plan, and the procedures related to those changes. The exchange stated that it found deficiencies that could put users at risk of losses and that the reasons for its previous warning had not been addressed, and decided to end trading support. SOPH was placed under a trading warning on September 22, 2026.
When trading support ends, all existing buy and sell orders for the SOPH/KRW, SOPH/BTC, and SOPH/USDT pairs will be canceled. Following the announcement, services such as airdrops, wallet upgrades, and hard forks for SOPH will also no longer be supported.
Withdrawal support for SOPH will continue for 30 days, and users will be able to withdraw their assets until December 16, 2026. Upbit warned that SOPH deposited after trading support ends cannot be credited to users’ accounts, and that refunds for incorrect transfers made after the withdrawal period ends may take a long time due to technical reasons.
