USDT Supply on Network Surpassing Ethereum Increased by $4 Billion in One Month

USDT supply on Tron has increased by $4 billion over the last month to $94.27 billion, surpassing the total supply on Ethereum.

A significant ranking change has occurred in the distribution of USDT on Tron. According to Lookonchain’s September 2 post, the supply on the network grew by $4 billion within a month, reaching the $94.27 billion level. Thus, Tron has left Ethereum behind in terms of USDT supply.

This comparison shows the amount of USDT issued by Tether on different blockchains.

Records on Tronscan show the total USDT supply on the Tron network at the 94.269 billion USDT level. In the chart, the TRC20 USDT supply on Tron has risen gradually in recent months, while the ERC20 USDT supply on Ethereum remained at a lower level.

Tron Surpasses Ethereum in USDT Supply

The $4 billion increase in one month was decisive in bringing the amount of USDT on Tron to its current level. This shift revealed that the distribution of USDT among networks has diversified in a short period.

USDT can circulate on different blockchains with distinct token standards. The version on Tron is tracked as TRC20 USDT, while the version on Ethereum is tracked as ERC20 USDT. Recent data shows that the TRC20 USDT supply on Tron has exceeded the total supply on Ethereum.
