Massive Bitcoin Outflow from Binance: Two New Wallets Withdraw $441 Million from the Exchange
As activity in the cryptocurrency world continues, a massive Bitcoin (BTC) outflow totaling $441.34 million occurred from the Binance exchange through two new wallets.
Leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance has witnessed large-scale whale activity in recent hours. According to information shared by Lookonchain, an on-chain data analysis platform, a significant amount of Bitcoin (BTC) was withdrawn from the exchange via two newly created wallet addresses. The departure of a total of 6,765 BTC from the exchange was recorded as a highly remarkable development in terms of market supply balance and investor expectations.
Million-Dollar Bitcoin Transfer via Binance
Looking at the details of the transfers, it appears that the transactions were carried out from the exchange’s cold wallets—secure storage units not connected to the internet. One of these wallets acquired 5,565 BTC, worth approximately $363.05 million, in a single transaction. Simultaneously, the other wallet moved 1,200 BTC, or about $78.29 million, out of the exchange. This massive transfer, totaling $441.34 million, is seen as a strategy by a large investor to move assets to a safe haven for long-term storage.
Such large Bitcoin outflows from exchanges are generally interpreted as a reduction in selling pressure. This move, whose impact on the Bitcoin price is eagerly awaited, could trigger price volatility in the coming period by leading to a decrease in market supply.
