Despite selling $544.5 million in shares this week, MicroStrategy did not purchase any Bitcoin (BTC), increasing its cash reserve to $3.75 billion.

According to shared data, the company generated $544.5 million in net proceeds by disposing of 5.43 million MSTR shares. During the same period, the institution repurchased 288,930 preferred shares worth $25 million and closed the week without any Bitcoin purchases. This kept the company’s total Bitcoin holdings steady at 843,775 units while allowing its cash reserve to reach $3.75 billion.

The average cost of the company’s current Bitcoin portfolio is calculated at $75,476. Sitting on a massive total investment of $63.69 billion, MicroStrategy may have sent a different signal to the market with this week’s pause. The cash accumulation by the company, which typically buys at every opportunity, is interpreted as either waiting for a potential Bitcoin price correction or gathering strength for an even larger move.
