Single-Handedly Controlling 4.8% of the Ethereum Supply: $11.6 Billion ETH Move from Giant Company
Bitmine Immersion Technologies has increased its total Ethereum (ETH) holdings to over 5.8 million with its latest purchases, owning approximately 4.8 percent of the network supply.
Known for cryptocurrency mining and technology investments, Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) continues to strengthen its strategic position in the Ethereum ecosystem. The latest data shared by the company reveals that institutional-level ETH accumulation has reached massive proportions and that the company’s influence on the network is increasing.
Adding another 7,391 ETH to its portfolio last week, the company increased its total assets to the 5,805,238 ETH level. This amount corresponds to a highly critical ratio of 4.8 percent of the total Ethereum supply on the market. In light of current data, the market value of the total cryptocurrency and cash assets held by the company has reached the $11.6 billion mark.
Bitmine Multiplies Its Revenue with Ethereum Staking Strategy
The company is not only accumulating assets but is also staking these assets to generate passive income. By locking up 5,067,309 ETH—approximately 87 percent of its Ethereum holdings—to secure the network, Bitmine aims for significant earnings from this process. It is projected that the company will generate approximately $257 million in annual staking income through this strategy.
Also supporting its financial structure with share buybacks, Bitmine repurchased 3 million shares from the market last week. Total share buybacks since July have reached 19.1 million units. By both growing its crypto asset reserves and investing in its own shares, the company demonstrates one of the most tangible examples of institutional confidence in Ethereum.
