Upbit Lists This Altcoin, Price Jumps 19%!
Upbit announced that it will launch spot trading support for Kaia (KAIA) in the KRW, BTC, and USDT markets.
According to the announcement, Kaia (KAIA) will begin trading in the KAIA/KRW, KAIA/BTC, and KAIA/USDT pairs on October 9 at 12:30 p.m. Turkey Time.
Deposits and withdrawals are planned to open within one hour of the announcement’s publication. Transactions will be supported only through the Kaia network; transfers from other networks will not be accepted.
Upbit will restrict buy orders for the first 5 minutes after trading support begins. During the same period, sell orders cannot be placed at prices 10 percent or more below the previous day’s closing price. For the KAIA/BTC pair, the initial buy restriction will not apply because existing orders on Upbit Indonesia and Thailand will be displayed in the order book. Across all pairs, only limit orders will be accepted for approximately 2 hours.
The announcement said that, according to CoinMarketCap data, the previous day’s closing prices were 51.82 KRW for KAIA/KRW, 0.00000047 BTC for KAIA/BTC, and 0.03861 USDT for KAIA/USDT. As of October 9 at 10:35 a.m. Turkey Time, the latest prices were reported as 50.39 KRW, 0.00000045 BTC, and 0.03772 USDT, respectively.
According to CoinMarketCap data, KAIA is trading at $0.04528, up 19.14% over the past 24 hours.
