Bitcoin’s Historic Q3 First: These Three Months Have Never All Closed Green Before!
According to a post based on CoinGlass data, Bitcoin made history at the end of the third quarter by closing higher in all three months—July, August, and September.
According to information shared by CoinMarketCap on October 2 and reshared by CoinGlass, Bitcoin’s monthly return records showed the first instance of July, August, and September all closing positive in the same year. As a result, every month in the third quarter ended with gains compared with the previous month’s close.
The first: a continuous rise from July through September
The notable detail is that all three months making up the third quarter ended in the green. The claim of a historical first refers specifically to the July–August–September calendar period, not to Bitcoin rising for three consecutive months at any point.
A quarter does not need every month within it to be positive to finish with an overall gain. This time, however, Bitcoin extended July’s rise with positive closes in August and September, completing the quarter with uninterrupted monthly gains.
